• Assumes responsibility for inventory control of clinical supplies and proper disposal of biohazardous waste.
• Maintains exam rooms and work areas in a clean and organized manner. Communicates patient care concerns to appropriate personnel and follows up with patients/families as needed.
• Provides safe and effective patient care under the direction of the physician and/or nurse manager. Escorts patients from the waiting area into the exam room, documents brief history, and records vital signs.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patients using established guidelines.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician.
• Documents and administers immunizations, therapeutic injections, and medications under supervision.

• High School Graduate or equivalent (Required)
• Technical/Vocational School (Required)
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certificate (BLS)
• RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
