Overview

Food and Beverage Expert (Target) – Part-time, Palm Coast, FL. This role supports Food & Beverage operations to ensure fresh, in-stock, accurately priced products with quality guest service.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, merchandising, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set, maintain and adjust sales floor merchandise displays and backroom organization.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Adhere to federal, state and local adult beverage laws as applicable.
• Care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Operate safely and comply with safety policies, training, and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and drive-up while maintaining compliance with laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Engage with guests to address specific needs and provide resolutions.
• Thank guests for shopping at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You are open to flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required.
• Welcoming attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish tasks within established time frames.

• Climb ladders and handle cash register operations as needed.
• Move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
• Work schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliability and prompt attendance required.
• Work in environments with varying temperatures (34°F to
  -10°F) and potential allergens.
• Remain mobile for shift duration and be adaptable to Drive-Up or carryout duties.
