• Experience:
  
  Print or Television news reporting – 3+ years
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field; or comparable television work experience
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to shoot videos, understanding of video editing software, and utilization of social media effectively
• Skills:
  
  Ability to communicate effectively on camera and through writing and verbal expression
• Abilities:
  An innate curiosity and sense of urgency when creating compelling stories; lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
• Travel Ability:
  Must be open to travel to discover important stories in your neighborhood and interact with the community
• Schedule:
  
  Ability to work under time‑pressure deadlines and be willing to work different shifts, longer shifts due to breaking news or severe weather emergencies, and weekends/holidays
• Valid driver's license for authorized driving in the state of residence

Working Conditions:

Work inside in a climate‑controlled environment and outside throughout the year; may encounter extreme heat or cold conditions.
