We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and a passion for promoting oral health. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental hygiene services, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting the overall mission of our clinic.

• Perform dental cleanings and preventive care for patients
• Taking Digital dental x-rays (Dexis)
• Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
• Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories
• Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment
• Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans based on patient assessments
• Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices, including medical imaging and anatomy knowledge

• Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice
• Familiarity with medical terminology, and infection control procedures
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient care and comfort
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a calm DRAMA FREE environment
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is an advantage
