What This Position Is All AboutUnder the direction of the Assistant Store Director of Customer Experience, the Customer Experience Lead supports front-of-house priorities. They maintain selling floor service and merchandising standards to drive sales and customer experience. The Customer Experience Lead holds direct associate reports accountable using Connected Coaching to ensure selling floor associates drive the right KPIs and act as strong brand ambassadors.
Primary Job Functions- Ensure cashiering team is in the right place at the right time and manage the customer line with urgency
- Greet customers at the line and direct them to the appropriate register; call for additional Associate/Manager backup as needed
- Follow all directives and corporate guidelines, keep area neat and set to standard with necessary supplies, and meet fast-to-floor merchandise movement expectations
- Teach, coach, and train associates to follow fast-to-floor return processes to keep merchandise available to sell
- Drive loyalty enrollments, Saks First acquisitions, and Connected Service behaviors for a seamless customer experience
- Act as the Connected Service Coach when the Assistant Store Director is not in the store to reinforce Connected Service during peak traffic
- Leverage walkie-talkie expectations for flexible coverage to support customer needs
- Assist in resolving customer concerns or escalate to appropriate Management support as needed

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 4-year degree or relevant experience preferred
- 1+ years of supervisory experience with comparable volume or proven supervisory success
- Ability to drive sales and service, maintain client relationships, and complete operational tasks
- Ability to train and coach associates on selling behaviors for high performance
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Salary and Other CompensationThe starting hourly rate for this position is between $19.00–$22.75 per hour. Factors affecting starting pay include market, skills, experience, and other qualifications.
This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the Company’s plan.
