The Senior Accountant will join the finance team in a role that blends audit support with full-cycle general ledger accounting. This position is ideal for a CPA with public accounting experience who enjoys maintaining strong controls while remaining hands‑on with month‑end close, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

• Perform full-cycle general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Support internal audit functions, including control testing, walkthroughs, and documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial data to identify variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with external auditors and provide audit support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with process improvements, documentation, and strengthening internal controls.

• CPA designation (active or in progress with intent to complete).
• Public accounting experience with an audit-focused background strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Combination of public accounting and industry experience.
• Experience transitioning from audit into operational accounting.
• Exposure to SOX, internal audits, or compliance-focused environments.
• Experience working within a mid-sized or growing organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required.
