• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
• Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed; be familiar with fulfillment services and how to direct guests to enroll, activate and use them.
• Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and the Target App features.
• Handle returns following register prompts and partner with leaders as needed to solve guest needs while following Target policies.
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience as needed.
• Deliver easy and accurate service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as OPU, Drive-up Orders, DU Returns and compliance with applicable laws.
• Support cash office processes as needed, including management of cash systems.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently and with a team.

• Accurately handle cash transactions and assist with cash office as needed.
• Shopper-facing duties may involve lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds with assistance, or up to 10 pounds regularly.
• Flexibility to pick up shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays to meet store needs.
• Active engagement by picking up shifts and responding to contact attempts; failure to work at least one shift within 5 months may lead to administrative termination.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions related to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
