The Programmer/Analyst IV will be responsible for a variety of duties in support of the Company’s Virtual One Stop (VOS) software solution. The role works closely with other team members in an Agile environment and is focused on timely delivery of new development, maintenance incidents, configuration tasks, setup tasks, responding to customer questions, data change requests, and other duties as assigned by the Team Lead.

Viable candidates must be willing to work onsite at GSI s headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida daily.

• Performs work independently under minimal supervision
• Maintain web applications
• Design and build applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
• Migrate internally developed applications to latest Microsoft .NET technologies
• Troubleshoot and debug development and production issues
• Perform tests to identify system/software defects
• Follow design specs
• Apply best practices
• Read specifications and design software solutions
• Mentoring
• Create design specs
• Interface with subject matter experts to gather requirements
• Perform technical interviews

• Experience with migrating legacy applications to .NET Platform
• Experience writing and debugging ASP.NET Web Forms applications
• Experience using Team Foundation Server
• Experience with JavaScript and libraries (jQuery, Bootstrap, Mustache; Angular
  
  JS is a plus)
• Experience with WCF/REST Services, Web API, and mobile development is a plus
• 7–10 years of ASP.NET programming

• A Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience is required
• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems is a plus
• MCSD / MCPD Certifications is a plus

• MS SQL
• ASP.NET
• Team Foundation Server
• .NET Framework
• Agile

• Web API is a plus
• WCF Service is a plus

• May also be assigned various projects and tasks as needed
