Public Affairs Social Media & Graphic Design - Temporary Position
Temporary, part‑time (maximum 30 hours per week) position located in Palm Springs, CA. Salary $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and post content to DWA’s social media platforms, creating graphics, videos, and reels.
- Produce compelling visuals and outreach collateral, including photography of projects or events as needed.
- Write engaging content for social media, advertising, marketing, and the website.
- Update website pages and events calendar.
- Coordinate and assist with events.
- Support DWA photo library and promotional inventory assistance.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, Linked In, You Tube, Nextdoor) and formal experience/education desired.
- Training, experience, or education in graphic design, video, and photography.
- Proficient writing for various audiences, from social media to advertising campaigns.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Google Docs and Sheets, Canva, website platforms, Adobe products a plus.
