Event Manager / Planner, Customer Service Rep

Position Summary The Parking Supervisor is generally responsible for supervising parking staff for events such as the 2026 BNP Paribas Open, Dr. George Car Show, Coachella, and other events in the area. This position reports to the parking manager. This is a seasonal role from February 1, 2026 and will end on March 30, 2026. This role pays an hourly rate of $22.00.
This position will remain open until February 20, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Maintain core values while working on property
- Must be able to legally operate vehicles
- Inspect parking lots several times throughout day
- Ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests
- Assist manager with event day operations of parking lots and traffic flow
- Assist Manager with traffic management program and creating Traffic Command Center in SOC monitoring real‑time parking data.
- Assist Manager with enforcement of employee parking program
- Ensure event day checklists are followed & completed for entirety of event
- Ensure campus is set up and lots are ready for event
- Report traffic incidents in lots to manager
- Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with our parking operations
- Perform inventory management
- Assist Manager by gathering information to respond to guest inquires and investigate complaints/concerns
- Assisting with the continuous evaluation and adjustment pedestrian and vehicle way finding signage program
- Previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred, but not required
Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Must have one (1) year previous experience.
- Core customer communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Must have flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends, early mornings and late nights and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.
