We are seeking a full-time Lead
Client Service Associate (Teller) to join California Bank & Trust in Palm Springs
. The Lead Client Service Associate plays a key role in leading daily teller operations, coaching team members, and driving client service excellence to support branch goals.
- Leads the daily activities of client service associates to ensure smooth and efficient branch teller operations.
- Coaches and counsels branch staff to improve customer service, sales, and operational skills through regular on-the-job training.
- Collaborates with team members to develop action plans that drive individual and branch goals.
- Oversees daily activities to protect the branch against loss while delivering high-quality client service.
- Maintains an advanced, up-to-date knowledge of bank procedures and operational workflows.
- Supervises branch activities as needed in the absence of or in conjunction with the branch management team.
- Expands the client base through effective selling techniques, including lending applications, cross-selling bank products, and assisting clients with their overall banking needs.
- Processes cash transactions and handles other customer service duties within the branch as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years banking, cashiering, customer service, balancing, other related experience, or successful completion of company approved training.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and overall banking practices.
- Utilizes a strong working knowledge of basic mathematics to ensure operational accuracy.
- Possesses solid balancing and customer service skills to support client satisfaction.
- Exhibits the ability to identify client needs and cross-sell appropriate bank products and services.
- Displays strong interpersonal and leadership skills to successfully coach and guide team members.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $29-$33 hourly depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
