Position Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our nutrition team at the tertiary acute care Level 1 Trauma Center in Palm Springs, CA.

Position Details
Provide direct and comprehensive medical nutrition therapy for moderate‑to‑critically ill adults. Assess nutrition needs, develop care plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and attend all assigned meetings.
Compensation
Salary: $75,000–$95,000 and other forms of compensation including meal plan, phone stipend, CEU’s, and tuition reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical nutrition therapy including assessment, modification, education, and intervention for patients.
- Follow all guidelines as outlined within the company diet manual and clinical nutrition policies & procedures manual.
- Comply with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agency requirements, HIPAA, and patient confidentiality.
- Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
- Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Licensed by the state dietetics licensing/credentialing board where required.
- One (1) year of hospital experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
