Houseman - Rover

The Houseman / Rover is the quiet engine behind the guest experience—moving fluidly across departments to ensure the property is clean, maintained, and operating seamlessly. This role supports housekeeping, food & beverage, and light maintenance needs, stepping in wherever needed to keep the hotel running at its highest standard.

This is a hands-on, fast-moving role ideal for someone who takes pride in details, enjoys variety in their day, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

• Assist room attendants with stripping rooms, removing trash, and replenishing linens and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage areas, carts, and linen rooms
• Deliver linens, towels, and amenities to guest rooms and team members as needed
• Support deep cleaning projects and Perfect Room Program (PRP) initiatives

• Maintain cleanliness of all public spaces including lobby, pool areas, restrooms, pathways, and back-of-house areas
• Ensure pool deck, lounge areas, and outdoor spaces are consistently guest-ready
• Monitor and restock guest amenities throughout the property

• Operate dishwashing station efficiently and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dish areas
• Assist with clearing tables, resetting spaces, and supporting service periods when needed
• Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health and safety guidelines

• Perform minor repairs such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, tightening fixtures, and basic touch-ups
• Report maintenance issues promptly to management
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and vendor coordination when needed

• Respond quickly to guest and team requests across departments
• Support special projects, events, and operational needs as they arise
• Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact guests
