Role Description The Room Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based at La Serena Villas Hotel in Palm Springs, CA. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and suites, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and restocking amenities to meet hotel standards. Day-to-day tasks include handling laundry, such as collecting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels, and reporting any maintenance or safety issues.

The Room Attendant interacts with guests in a courteous and professional manner, responding to requests and ensuring a comfortable stay. This role also involves following housekeeping checklists, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and working closely with other team members to support overall property cleanliness.
Qualifications

• Strong housekeeping and clean rooms skills, with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards and follow established procedures.
• Experience with laundry operations, including proper handling, washing, drying, and storage of linens and guest items.
• Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently with minimal supervision, and manage time and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to safety and hygiene practices.
• Previous hotel or hospitality housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
