We are seeking an experienced Psych NP or PA to join our residential behavioral health program near Palm Springs, CA. This role is primarily psychiatric
, working within a detox/residential program in Cathedral City
, with occasional medical support as appropriate. Candidates must have strong substance abuse (SA) experience and be comfortable working with dual-diagnosis patients. Providers with a Psych NP
, dual Psych/FNP
, or PA background are encouraged to apply—must be willing to manage both psychiatric and medical needs as required.
- Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing medication management for residential and detox patients.
- Support medical needs within scope, especially for dual-diagnosis and SA-related conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in care planning, treatment team meetings, and continuity-of-care efforts.
- Licensed Psych NP
, Psych/FNP
, or Physician Assistant in the state of California. - Experience required—must have a background working with substance abuse (SA) populations.
- Comfortable treating both psychiatric and medical issues in a residential treatment setting.
