Job Summary
Ensures the security and safety of the guests, employees, cash and physical assets of the Agua Caliente Casino.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provides excellent guest service
- Monitors performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence of Casino policies and procedures.
- Prepares schedules of the Security Officers and Security Surveillance Dispatch Officers
- Assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures for the Security Dept.
- Ensures the integrity of gambling, banking, Count room and cash handling procedures.
- Ensures the safety of guests and employees during Casino operation.
- Develop and maintain photo/card file on issues of importance.
- Maintains all required logs as directed by compact agreement.
- Maintain integrity of lost and found property. Fosters and maintains positive player/house relations.
- Maintains and controls access to restricted Casino areas.
- Ensures Security Surveillance video tapes are changed at designated times.
- Will perform functions as needed as a Security Officer or Security Surveillance Dispatch Officer
Supervises all Security Officers and Security Surveillance Dispatch Officers.
QualificationsGaming experience not required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or G.E.D. with 1 year related experience in Security/Law enforcement and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working Conditions / Physical DemandsMust stand, move and work throughout office area and properties, including walking up to 1½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for duration of shift. Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment, a lighting-subdued environment for extended periods, and in extreme heat and cold weather. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry items weighing a minimum of 25 lbs.
on an intermittent basis and have dexterity to use office equipment including computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
