Job Description

Responsible for supporting the General Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing the profitability of one Race Trac store during designated shifts. While leading the shift, you will deliver on Race Trac’s mission of making lives simpler and more enjoyable through friendly service, food execution, cleanliness, talent development, and driving success.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, frictionless, and elevated experiences for guests.
• Foster positive and professional relationships with co-workers and guests.
• Communicate respectfully and maintain a team-oriented attitude.
• Complete guest transactions efficiently and suggest complementary products.
• Address guest concerns promptly, involving regional team members as needed.

• Monitor and adhere to all safety and food safety regulations.
• Ensure all food offers are available.

• Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Execute shift duties, uphold presentation standards, and represent the Race Trac brand.
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment to Race Trac standards.

• Demonstrate Race Trac's core values: honesty, efficiency, positive attitude, respect, and teamwork.
• Lead with a servant-leader mentality, prioritize tasks, go the extra mile, listen, communicate respectfully, and solve problems proactively.
• Coach, train, and assess team members, providing feedback on performance and development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• 2-3 years of work experience preferred.
• 1+ years management experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume, guest-focused environments preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and reach repeatedly.
• May need to obtain food handler and alcohol server permits as required by local laws.
