Coast Construction Group is a growing General Contractor headquartered in downtown Arlington, WA. We also have an office in Lancaster, California. We are a design‑build contractor specializing in logistics, warehousing, and commercial projects. This position deals directly with prospective clients, current clients, and the project team. You will travel to job sites and client offices as needed, as well as potentially on other projects, duties, meet deadlines, and always professionally represent our company.
Assists the PM in ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and on schedule. The PE oversees document control for the project. This goes from the plans and specifications to RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project O&M manuals once the project is complete.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Maintain control of all project documentation.
- Coordinates and maintains special inspection documentation for project.
- Create, manage, and track RFIs from the field.
- Maintain and distribute project plans.
- Maintain and update project records.
- Assist the PM/Superintendent in creating and distributing the project schedule.
- Understand the project plans and specifications.
- Assist project team with conflict resolution between owner, contractor, and subcontractor.
- Turn in submittals from subcontractors to the Architect/Engineer for approval.
- Manage project change orders including creation and negotiation between PM and owner.
- Document owner's meetings/decisions and distribute minutes.
- Assist with site safety documentation and coordination.
- Assist with documenting job progress and schedule.
- Create and distribute project close‑out material and O&M manuals to owner once project is complete.
