Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

Project Manager position in Palmdale, CA, is available at Garney Construction. To be considered for this position, you must have previous project management experience in the water and waste-water construction industry.

• Managing cost and Work In Progress projections.
• Managing job site supervisory personnel.
• Planning and scheduling the project.
• Developing and maintaining owner relations.
• Negotiating and purchasing materials.
• Establishing and enforcing job site safety expectations.
• Managing project costs.
• Contract negotiation and administration.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related Field.
• 6-10 years in heavy civil construction industry
• Large Diameter wet utilities: water, sewer, storm (required)
• 2-3 years prior Project Management experience with a self-perform contractor
• Experienced with CMAR and/or Design-Build projects
• Must be able to adapt to a flexible schedule, support operational needs, and respond to urgent matters.
• Willing to travel and or relocate.
