You will be the Systems Engineer for our Advanced Development Program (ADP), known as the historic Skunk Works, in Palmdale, CA. We are looking for world-class talent for this position to join the 75+ year tradition of creating advanced aircraft. What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Engineer you will be handling multiple and widely varying assignments and will be part of a fast-paced, dynamic environment exploring state-of-the-art technical solutions that will include Agile and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). You will have the ability to work independently as well as being a team player and willing to support other team members on a proactive basis in any capacity needed.
You will engage professionally and effectively with senior management. You will successfully meet deadlines and execute to a strict timeline. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing systems engineering support, to include but not limited to requirements tracking, risk management, architecture evaluation, and Airworthiness for an ADP program.
• Working across multiple disciplines, suppliers, and users to ensure all aspects of the project are covered with appropriate requirements, including conducting technical trade studies to determine requirements.

Further Information About This Opportunity This position is in Palmdale, CA Discover Palmdale. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical STEM degree.
Experience with requirements tracking, risk management, or architecture evaluation
Desired
Skills:
Experience utilizing tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, 3DX, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements Experience using software tools (such as MS Excel, JIRA and Access) Past experience or coursework in systems engineering Must be able to successfully meet deadlines and execute to a strict timeline. Must be a US Citizen;
this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Past Internship/Work Experience in a technically collaborative and team-based environment Engineering analytical and problem solving skills
