As a Quality Engineer on Advanced Development Programs, you'll be responsible for driving process improvements, managing variation, and influencing cross-functional strategies that reduce defects, scrap, and rework. You'll collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams while representing the voice of quality in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Applies quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products. Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place.

Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in root cause, corrective action, manufacturing metric analysis and creation
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: quality engineering, quality assurance, inspection, quality auditing.
• Experience with reading and interpreting engineering requirements and specifications and apply their intent for evaluating acceptance of quality products.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with: 3D Model Based Environments like Catia, NX, 3DX or XVE
• GD&T Experience
• Design for manufacturing Experience;
Manufacturing assembly and/or fabrication experience in production operations environment
• Experience with:
Internal surveillance systems/auditing systems, Inspection Planning and Work Instructions, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Inspection methods, Statistical Process Control, Key Characteristic management (design and process KCs), RCCA tools and skillsets, Metrics development; analytics

• Bachelors in STEM
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative, qualitative analytical capabilities to communicate and influence others in a concise, data driven manner.
