Role Overview
Johnson Service Group is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer who will be responsible for performing stress analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure, as well as updating existing analyses to incorporate design changes. Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models.
Responsibilities- Perform stress analysis on new primary and secondary airframe structure.
- Update existing analyses to incorporate design changes.
- Interpret detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models.
- Experience with FEA software including NASTRAN and PATRAN.
- Experience using Altair Hyper Mesh as a pre‑processor and TMP Vision for post‑processing.
- Experience with CATIA V5/3DX highly desired.
- Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems desired.
- Recent Level 4 experience with airframe primary structure layout and sizing, hand/Excel based analysis of aerospace structures, and active secret investigation within 5 years or CE enrolment.
