Job Description
:
The successful applicant will perform mechanical design of electromagnetic/RF components, antennas, radomes, support structures, flight qualified hardware, composite/metallic component/structures, full‑scale RCS/RF test fixtures, and will provide support to other classified activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related STEM degree
- Working knowledge of CATIA V5, 3DExperience, or similar CAD experience
- Experience with detail part/assembly design
- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Knowledge in the fields of technical design and fabrication of metallic/composite materials
- Experience with design/integration of air vehicle platforms or aerospace components
- Experience with mechanical design of electromagnetic/RF components, electrical packaging, power system layout, and circuit board design
- General knowledge of fundamental EM theories
- Experience in design for additive manufacturing
- Experience managing programmatics of projects (schedule, costs, procurement activity)

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to employees. Schedules range from a standard 40‑hour week to condensed schedules that provide additional time away from the office in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC is $101,000 – $178,135. For other states, the range reflects the candidate’s final work location.
