Responsibilities
  • Design, build, integrate, and operate systems for the real‑time display of aircraft data as well as post‑test processing of recorded data to create data products.
  • Assist with diagnosing and resolving problems that arise from the collection and processing of data.
  • Actively work to expand knowledge of the discipline and of specific tasking.
  • Work independently and be willing to work extended hours, weekends, and rotations in support of mission goals.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Data Science, Data Mining, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience with software development or scripting.
  • Secret clearance required to start.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Desired

Skills:

  • Desire to learn new skills.
  • Experience with data processing.
  • Experience with telemetry.
  • Experience with TSPI (Time Space Position Information).
  • Understanding of IRIG 106 standard.
  • Experience with data acquisition systems.
  • Experience with Curtiss‑Wright IADS (Interactive Analysis and Display System).
  • Experience with communication protocols, specifically Ethernet, MIL‑STD‑1553, ARINC 429, Fiber Channel, IEEE‑1394, CAIS Bus, RS‑485.
  • Aerospace experience.
  • Experience with server or computer workstation administration.
  • Experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting experience.
  • Security+ certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team‑based environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Security Clearance: This position requires a government security clearance. Clearance level:
Top Secret. Must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Location and Access: The position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate:
Annual base salary ranges vary by state. For California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC: $70,100 – $123,625. For other states, the range reflects the candidate’s final work location. In major metropolitan areas: $80,600 – $139,840. Incentive plan eligible.

Schedule:

4 × 10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Work is onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Lockheed Martin supports flexible alternate work schedules.
