OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - Floating - Acute Rehab/Inpatient, Full Time, Day
Palmdale Regional Medical Center, a 184‑bed acute care hospital located in Palmdale, CA, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Rehabilitation and Inpatient team as a Full‑time Day float provider. The role offers a rewarding work environment within a growing network of healthcare providers.
Position DescriptionResponsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities prescribed by a licensed physician.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and develop individualized therapy plans across the acute rehab and inpatient units.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and adjust treatment based on patient progress, ensuring compliance with physician orders.
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- One (1) year experience as an occupational therapist in an acute care facility preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a bachelor’s or master’s degree and certification in occupational therapy.
- Current California Occupational Therapy License or License eligibility letter prior to the first day of employment.
- If CA OT License eligibility letter recipient with a limited permit, licensing exam must be passed within 90 days from letter date.
- BLS (AHA) current certification.
