Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to implement our human capital strategy in support of geographically dispersed clients. This is an on-site role located in Palmdale, CA with occasional travel.

• Implement Human Resources policies as a generalist, partner with business operations to ensure understanding of business needs and objectives and resolve HR issues.
• Serve as HR liaison for succession planning, talent management, employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and training and development.
• Act as the business partner and consultant to internal client groups to build organizational capability to meet sector and strategic goals.

• Ability to drive HR initiatives from design through execution.
• Strong relationship building and consulting skills; able to influence direction and drive change.
• Ability to diagnose root causes and design solutions with appropriate resources.
• Proven ability to assess and design creative organizational solutions.

This requisition may be filled at either an HR Business Partner level or a Principal HR Business Partner level.

HR Business Partner:
Bachelor’s degree AND 2 years of Human Resources experience;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access;
Ability to support multiple shifts/time zones.

Principal HR Business Partner:
Bachelor’s degree AND 5 years of Human Resources experience OR a Master’s degree AND 3 years of Human Resources experience;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access;
Ability to support multiple shifts/time zones.

• Experience prioritizing work, balancing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Workday.
• HR experience in Aerospace & Defense and/or manufacturing.
• Current and active DoD clearance.

Salary ranges:
Primary $75,800.00 - $;
Secondary $94,200.00 - $. The above ranges are guidelines; base salary offers consider the job scope, candidate experience, and market conditions.

Other compensation: overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, annual bonuses, Long Term Incentives; benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, holidays and PTO.
