Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Product Support Manager 2 to join our Technical Publications Team in Palmdale, CA.
ResponsibilitiesAs Product Support Manager, you will exercise functional leadership and program execution responsibilities. You will guide the Technical Publications team to fulfill their statement of work, consult on and prioritize program priorities related to technical data, chair and brief review boards and senior‑leadership meetings, and liaise across multiple functions—including customers, peer functional organizations, and other internal Northrop Grumman stakeholders. You will possess a balanced skill set that combines interpersonal, programmatic, personnel‑development, and technical capabilities, and will demonstrate the ability to lead complex initiatives and large teams with minimal direction while achieving significant results.
The standard work schedule is a 9/80—with every other Friday off. Because of the classified nature of the program, remote work is not available.

- Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master’s degree and 7 years of related professional/military experience.
- Familiarity and understanding of military Technical Order Systems, Life Cycles, and Technical Manuals.
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support on‑call status when necessary.
- Must have an active Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Prior Logistics Support/military experience with background in aircraft maintenance and/or operations.
- Previous Technical Publication writing or Technical Order Management Agency (TOMA) experience.
- Current SAP and Special Program Access.

Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation or personal business.
