Overview

Manager Traffic Administration 3 - R-2 at Northrop Grumman. Roles And Responsibilities
  • Accountable for domestic and international traffic operations across the sector, addressing issues in program execution related to GM&L Traffic operations; develop and execute mitigation plans for risks.
  • Lead managers and individual contributors responsible for supporting all sites, programs and product line goals through accurate tracking, reporting and problem-resolution related to domestic and international traffic.
  • Support the Enterprise/Corporate GSC Transportation and Logistics (TL) Community of Practice (CoP) and Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives; lead initiatives/strategies to drive improved efficiency and cost reductions.
  • Develop and drive strategy for Logistics Traffic operations aligned with organizational goals; optimize supply chain processes to support growth, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Goods Movement, International Trade Compliance (ITC), Logistics Service Providers (LSP), and other key functions to ensure alignment and deliver on program commitments.
  • Serve as a key liaison with internal customers and executive leadership; communicate strategic plans and operational performance effectively and transparently.
  • Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external customers, including local, state, federal, and international agencies to ensure regulatory compliance in support of Aeronautics Sector objectives.
  • Cultivate a high-performing, engaged culture by modeling respect, ownership and accountability; empower teams and promote open communication across all levels.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and succession planning to ensure leadership readiness; guide employees to align with Northrop Grumman Leadership Values and Behaviors.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Project Management, Business Management, operations OR Master’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 10 years of experience
  • Must have 4 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
  • Must have Supply Chain with Traffic or Shipping or Warehousing experience
  • Active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with International Trade Compliance
  • Licensed Customer Broker
  • Ability to prepare and present executive-level presentations
  • Experience leading teams in a virtual or geographically dispersed environment
  • Experience as an accomplished problem-solver and change-agent with a mix of technical and business expertise for developing innovative Supply Chain strategies
Salary and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $ - $

The salary range represents a general guideline; base offers consider scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, and market conditions. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may apply. Bonuses reward individual contributions and company results;
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Northrop Grumman offers health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, and PTO for vacation/personal time.
