Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is hiring a Deployable Avionics Technician 4 for a rotational OCONUS program based in Palmdale, CA.
ResponsibilitiesYou will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems wiring in aircraft in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations. You will fabricate, install, and test installation, routing, clamping, and wiring harnesses. You will read wiring diagrams and blueprints, operate specialty vehicles, and perform work in approved environments during specified hours. You must understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, relay and receive information, and be able to work under a variety of physical conditions and understand aviation and aerospace technical data.
BasicQualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and 6 years of relevant experience in the Aviation or Aerospace industry.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable period of time.
- Ability to meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.
- Valid U.S. passport.
- Willingness to accept customer‑furnished quarters for up to 180 days away from the primary work location.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends, and be on call 24/7, 365 days a year, as required.

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,100.00 - $
The salary range is a general guideline;
Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate’s experience, education, skills, and market conditions when determining an offer.
Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Base pay may also include Long‑Term Incentives for certain senior positions. Benefits include health, life, and disability insurance, a savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off.
