The ADP team is looking for a Sr. Fabrication Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Palmdale, CA! What You Will Be Doing
Lead small teams to ensure production needs are met and discrete deliverables are completed ahead of need. Conduct critical design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with manufacturing processes. Develop assembly plans and innovative solutions to address daily challenges, ensuring efficient production flow. Create and maintain detailed manufacturing products and documentation. Provide direct support on the production floor, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.

Utilize Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to develop manufacturing processes. Interpret drawings and model-based designs, translating them into actionable steps for manufacturability for the production environment. Collaborate with team members to explore out-of-the-box thinking and contribute to product improvement initiatives. What's In It For You:

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree required to apply - Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines including industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance &/or production operations.

- Experience with some combination of the following: experience with manufacturing processes and procedures including: composite fabrication, structural assembly, machining, bonded assemblies &/or installations.

-Heavy structural experience on the Manufacturing shop floor

- Experience with MRP system or SAP or other Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application
-Ability to obtain a secret security clearance after offer acceptance and willing to stay in current role/employment throughout the clearance processing period. Candidate must have a full secret clearance prior to start.

-Ability to obtain special program access within 3 months of start date with LM.

Skills:

-Previous experience with lean manufacturing and process improvements
-Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related technical field with 5+ years experience

- Experience with various PLM systems including SAP, iBase-t (Solumina), Teamcenter, and/or SFM
-Experience supporting various projects and coordinating activities related to the full life cycle of projects from conception to delivery
-Working knowledge of one or more organizations including:
Operations, IT, Planning, Production Control, ERP, MRP, Quality or systems integration.

-Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop preventative action plan to limit failures in the future.

-Demonstrated ability to solve logistical issues and lead efforts to drive mission success.

-Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications and manufacturing planning.

-Previous experience incorporating model based engineering into manufacturing plans.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years
