Organization Overview

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is a 184‑bed acute care hospital located in Palmdale, CA, offering high‑quality patient care and community service excellence. The center is part of Southwest Healthcare, a regional network of five hospitals serving Southern California.

Under the direction of the Department Manager or Charge Nurse, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides nursing care for patients, following the Nursing Department policies, the California Vocational Nurse Practice Act, and the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct and indirect nursing care of the critically ill patient.

• Assess and plan patient care.

• Implement and evaluate direct and indirect nursing care.

• Follow California Vocational Nurse Practice Act and department policies.

• 1‑year experience in an acute care hospital preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Vocational School of Nursing.
• Current LVN licensure in California.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) training for health care providers.
• California Integrated Pharmacy (CPI) certification within 30 days of hire.
