Maintenance Worker – Palmdale, CA

Full-time (Onsite)

• Determine type and kind of materials needed.
• Perform general plant maintenance duties such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repair.
• Make routine functional and performance inspections and correct, repair, or paint as required.
• Set up and operate machine tools such as grinders, drill presses, and power saws to make new parts or rework parts for repair.
• Operate pipe threader, drain snake, emergency generators and pumps as required.
• Change filters, belts, pulleys and assist other crafts as required.
• Mix, blend, and match various colors of paint for touch-up repairs.
• Operate and work from moving and/or telescoping boom vehicles and equipment.
• Cleans and stores equipment, tools, safety devices, protective clothing, etc.
• Prepares working and recording sketches as required, notes material needed.
• Works at various heights.

• Valid California driver’s license.
• Certifications required by the company.
• Experience in all trades of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repair.

• Critical thinking and drives to understand how equipment works.
• Willing to contribute to the team’s skill, knowledge and understand by positively communicating and assisting within a team environment.
• Experience in all trades of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repair.

Onsite full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
