Now Hiring Freezer Inventory Control Supervisor in Palmdale, CA.

Job Purpose:
Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Inventory Control department. Supervise teams of employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations in the Inventory Control department.
- Ensure safety rules, production, and sanitation standards are met.
- Manage Cycle Count Program, pick location creation, and re-profiling.
- Run inventory reports (PICK HITS, LOST IN CYCLE COUNT, EXPIRATION MANAGEMENT, ADJUSTMENTS).
- Process transfer orders (TO’s), return to vendor (RTV’s), and dispositions (dump and destroy).
- Troubleshoot and identify root causes of issues.
- Research PO discrepancies and conduct analytical investigations.
- Operate forklifts safely.
- Conduct quality assurance and spot checks for code dates.
- Report employee errors and complete incident reports.
- Maintain inventory integrity.
- Assist the Control Center and other warehouse supervisors.
- Assign duties, schedule breaks, work hours, and vacations; evaluate employees periodically.
- Support warehouse policies, procedures, and job duties.
- Address customer concerns and resolve discrepancies to promote good relations.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Collaborate with staff to maintain quality and productivity standards.
- Work flexible shifts as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills; self-initiator capable of supervising inventory programs.
- High proficiency with computers and WMS systems.
- Experience in warehouse supervision and wholesale industry preferred.
- Strong skills in MS Office, Excel, and WMS.
- Ability to interact effectively at all management levels and lead a diverse team.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience in the wholesale industry.
Work Environment and
Physical Requirements:
- Must lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand or sit for long periods.
- Access all warehouse areas.
- Work in a temperature-variable distribution center.
- Operate heavy equipment safely.
Travel Requirements:
This position may require occasional travel for meetings, training, or other work-related events.
