The Department of Public Safety (DPS), Division of Alaska State Troopers, is currently recruiting to fill Court Services Officers (CSO) positions around the state.
The salary is dependent upon the location of hire:- Anchorage = $38.30 per hour
- Juneau = $40.22 per hour
- Bethel = $57.45 per hour
- Fairbanks = $39.45 per hour
- Kotzebue = $61.28 per hour
Qualified applicants will be attending the Department of Public Safety Training academy beginning January 2027 and July 2027.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGCourt Services Officers (CSOs) are a unique class of officers who work under the general direction and command of AST.
Court Services Officers conduct duties for the Commissioner of Public Safety under AS , which includes providing physical security of courtrooms, chambers, and other spaces of the courts including the grounds of court facilities; coordinating and providing prisoner transport; serving court writs; and providing protective details and security for judicial officers.
