Materials Planner & Scheduler

We are hiring a Materials Planner & Scheduler to support a fast‑paced manufacturing operation in Troy, Ohio. This onsite role is responsible for production scheduling, materials planning, inventory control, and ensuring on‑time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of scheduling experience, strong ERP skills, and thrives in a hands‑on, production‑driven environment. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Palmer, MA — no relocation package.

• Plan and schedule raw materials, WIP, and production to meet customer demand.
• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Release and update work orders based on material availability and capacity.
• Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery.
• Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, Syteline, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Track KPIs such as OTIF, schedule adherence, and inventory turns.
• Partner with production, procurement, logistics, quality, and finance teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in materials planning, production scheduling, or supply chain within manufacturing.
• Strong ERP/MRP system experience (Epicor, Syteline, SAP, Oracle preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• APICS/CPIM certification a plus.
