Service Agreements & Sales Support Associate
Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional to support our Global Service and Sales Operations teams in the preparation, administration, and management of service and maintenance contracts. This role involves drafting and tracking contract proposals, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely contract support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of working independently while collaborating across departments to improve contract renewals, upsell opportunities, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and administer service contracts and maintenance warranty renewal proposals.
- Collaborate with Sales, Service Engineering, and Finance/Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accuracy in contract terms, pricing, billing schedules, and compliance.
- Manage customer account records, contract data, and renewal pipelines in CRM/contract management systems.
- Communicate with domestic and international customers regarding warranty renewal options, service coverage, and payment schedules.
- Assist in analyzing contract performance metrics to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and improve warranty renewal conversion rates.
- Support service teams by ensuring coverage alignment and accurate hand-off of signed contracts to operations.
- Resolve issues related to technical support, customer billing, and contract administration in coordination with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support audits of contract agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in service contracts, maintenance agreements, sales operations, or customer account administration.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, or contract management software (Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, etc.) a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Knowledge of service/maintenance contract structures, warranty policies, or subscription models.
- Experience supporting global or regional sales/service teams.
- Ability to interpret contract terms and conditions and explain them clearly to customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
The salary range for this position is $60k - $68k. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching.
