Midfield Dental Group is seeking two new team members for our hygiene department. Our office, led by Dr. Kono and Dr. Vanzina, formerly Palo Alto Dental Group, has been serving the community for over 27 years with a conservative philosophy and personalized care. • Be punctual and adjust to the office schedule.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal charting.
• Provide oral hygiene instruction to patients.
• Admin declare fluoride treatments and sealants.
• Conduct scaling & root planing procedures.
• Use antimicrobial agents, Perio Protect, and prescription toothpastes.
• Review medical history and understand issues pertinent to hygiene.
• Identify hard and soft tissue conditions that may require further treatment.
• Be an avid learner and the best source of education for your patients.
• Support colleagues and the dentists at our practice.

• Registered Dental Hygienist certification.
• Experience with digital X‑rays, Itero scan, IO camera, and basic computer and phone skills.
• Knowledge of preventive care and treatment planning.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in local anesthesia.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• X‑Ray certified (optional).

• Experience in periodontics and anesthesia.
• Familiarity with X‑rays and chairside assisting.
• Knowledge of Ascend Dental software.
