The Stanford Department of Pediatrics is committed to advancing the health of infants, children, and adolescents through innovative medical care, research, education, training, and advocacy. We offer broad‑based training in general pediatrics, critical care, and pediatric subspecialties within a variety of ambulatory, inpatient, and community settings.
Responsibilities- Serve as an attending physician in the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford (LPCHS).
- Attend the inpatient Pulmonary Hypertension Consult Service at LPCHS and provide outpatient clinical care of children with pulmonary vascular disease in the Betty Irene Moore Children’s Heart Center.
- Provide primary inpatient service coverage on the ACCU unit and maintain a panel of patients in outpatient clinics.
- Participate in multidisciplinary subspecialty clinics, including the Alagille Syndrome Program, CRIB Program, CEAL, and PAR Program.
- Train residents and categorical fellows in Pediatric Cardiology and supervise up to one senior fellow in Pediatric Pulmonary Vascular Disease annually.
- Medical degree (MD) or equivalent.
- Completed fellowship in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology; board eligible or certified.
- Advanced clinical training and/or post‑fellowship experience in pediatric pulmonary hypertension preferred.
- Demonstrated outstanding clinical abilities in caring for infants and children with pulmonary vascular disease.
- Strong teaching, administrative, and scholarship background appropriate to the Clinician Educator line.

Expected base pay range:
Clinical Assistant Professor: $294K - $313K |
Clinical Associate Professor: $339K - $357K |
Clinical Professor: $414K - $442K
. These ranges reflect base pay based on faculty rank and years in rank. Additional compensation may be available through the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program and incentive programs.
