The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University seeks a Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Clinician Educator to join the Division as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinical Educator Line. This position is located at our community‑hospital based Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA.
The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educator is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
Your Responsibilities- Providing direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
- Contributing to teaching, research, and administrative duties based on candidate interest.
The successful applicant must have an MD/DO degree, Board Certification in Pediatrics, and either Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, along with a California Medical License by the time of hire. The Clinical Educator role is defined by engagement in clinical care and teaching that advances clinical medicine.

Base Salary- Clinical Assistant Professor: $288,000 - $307,000
- Clinical Associate Professor: $331,000 - $350,000
- Clinical Professor: $383,000 - $422,000
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
