• Teach classical guitar lessons on‑site, scheduling lessons through the school app/website.
• Prepare students for performances, exams, and recitals.
• Communicate with students and parents, designing personalized lesson plans that cater to independent goals.
• Adhere to school attendance policies and manage teaching schedule independently.
• Participate in faculty recitals and performance opportunities (at least three times per year).

• U.S. legal status to work; visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.
• Bachelor’s degree in music (MM/MA, DM/PhD degrees preferred).
• Live in the Bay Area with reliable transportation to Mountain View/Palo Alto.
• Experience teaching and performing guitar.
• Exceptional communication skills with students and parents.
• Willingness to design personalized lesson plans and adapt to new teaching environments.
• Experience preparing students for performances and exams.
• Knowledge of ABRSM Practical and Theory Exams (or willingness to learn).
• English proficiency.

• Preferred teaching windows: weekday 2:30‑9 pm, weekend 9 am‑7 pm.
• Ideal candidates can teach 6 consecutive hours/day, at least 3 days/week (full‑time preferred).
