Position Overview
Clinical Research Coordinator 2 (CRC2) at Stanford University, Center for Allergy and Asthma Research.
Primary Responsibilities- Oversee subject recruitment and study enrollment goals.
- Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting for research projects.
- Develop project schedules, lead team meetings, and prepare meeting minutes.
- Train, mentor, and supervise new staff, including performance evaluations.
- Audit laboratory procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with principal investigators, monitor adverse events, and resolve study queries.
- Implement improvements to policies and procedures, defining best practices.
- Develop study budget, track milestones, and invoice sponsors according to contract.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee study documentation.
- Submit Investigational New Drug applications to the FDA and renew Institutional Review Board approvals.
- California State License in Phlebotomy.
- Prior experience in a clinical research setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in health science, biological sciences, life research, medical technology, or clinical research.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of experience in clinical research, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database applications.
- Experience with research protocols and regulatory governing bodies (HIPAA, FDA, IRB, GCP).
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) or Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) certification is preferred.
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and use fine grasping.
- Occasionally sit, reach above shoulders, perform desk‑based computer tasks, use a telephone, and write by hand.
- Rarely kneel, crawl, climb ladders, grasp forcefully, and lift or carry objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
- Position may require extended or unusual work hours based on research requirements and business needs.
- Due to the nature of the work, this position will work 100% on‑site.
Range $86,248 – $100,158 per annum. Stanford provides a comprehensive rewards package; details can be discussed during the hiring process.
