Now Hiring:
Patient Admin Specialist
Schedule:
Day Shift, M-F | 8a-5p
Duration: 13 weeks | Locations in Palo Alto, Los Gatos and Redwood City
Key Responsibilities:
Primary function is data entry and front desk patient check in and out
Responsible for greeting and welcoming patients and assisting with initial questions regarding appointments, payments, and scheduling
Answer multi-line phone, screen and route calls, take messages for staff and physicians
Assure that appropriate verifications and authorizations are complete before patient sees provider
Provide doctor-patient support using reference documents and tools
Communicate with providers regarding scheduling preference and ability to respond to urgent patient needs
Answer non-clinical patient messages, escalating where appropriate
Manage and distribute faxes, mail, and filing of clinic specific documentation
Will support all administrative tasks related to the daily operations of the clinic
License and
Certifications:
Must have Customer Service skills, organization, communication, problem solving, time management, attention to detail, teamwork, ability to multitask and learn quickly
Must be familiar with:
Epic, MS Outlook, & MS TeamsMust have experience with high-volume scheduling, requesting records, patient relations, customer service and coordinating with medical office
High School Diploma/GED Required
Pay:
- $29.00 per hour
Pay Details: $29.00 per hour
