About

The Role
  • We are seeking a client-focused and highly skilled Technical Delivery Engineer specialising in Connectivity Support. You will act as a technical authority for the ongoing operational health, optimisation, security, and reliability of key client network infrastructure.
  • This role demands deep involvement and hands‑on client engagement within live managed network environments, ensuring the stability and performance of critical connectivity services built on technologies from Fortinet (Forti Gate, Forti Manager, Forti

EMS), Palo Alto Networks (NGFW), and Juniper (SRX, ACX) working alongside our managed services offerings in Cloud, UC and Cyber Security.
  • You’ll be part of our passionate and supportive Operational Delivery team focussed on solving problems, leading on critical incidents, and continuously developing skills in a dynamic environment.
  • You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to your assigned clients, providing expert guidance on network security, SD‑WAN strategy, routing (including BGP, MPLS, VPLS), remote access (SASE, IPsec VPN & SSL VPN) configurations, and performance optimisation. Leveraging deep networking expertise, you will ensure network resilience, lead the resolution of complex connectivity issues, and proactively guide clients towards robust, secure, and efficient network solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled network engineer to step into a client‑facing role where your expertise truly makes an impact. Working with cutting‑edge technologies from Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Juniper, tackling complex challenges in real‑world environments while shaping secure, resilient connectivity solutions across a mix of clients across different sectors. Beyond technical depth, this role offers the chance to build trusted relationships, and drive innovation through automation and modern network practices.

Role

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior client focussed, technical role focused on network operations, network engineering, or network consulting within complex, multi‑vendor network environments (prior MSP or ISP experience highly beneficial).
  • Deep hands‑on expertise managing, troubleshooting, and optimising Fortinet based platforms (Forti Gate NGFW, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer experience essential) and managing SD‑WAN solutions (Fortinet SD‑WAN highly preferred).
  • Strong hands‑on expertise managing and troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks NGFW.
  • Demonstrable experience managing and troubleshooting Juniper SRX devices.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience with dynamic routing protocols, particularly BGP.
  • Expertise in VPN technologies, including complex IPsec site‑to‑site configurations and remote access SSL VPN solutions.
  • Solid understanding of core network security principles and technologies (stateful firewalling, NAT, IPS/IDS, web filtering, application control).
  • Familiarity with MPLS technologies and experience interacting with ISP and carriers.
  • Preferred:
Fortinet certifications such as NSE 4, NSE 5, NSE 7 or FCP, and Palo Alto Networks certifications including PCNSA or PCNSE.
  • Beneficial:
Juniper (JNCIS-SEC/JNCIP-SEC), Cisco (CCNP Security/Enterprise or equivalent), Check Point (CCSA/CCSE), CompTIA Security+, ISC² SSCP/CISSP, or GIAC certifications.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Fortinet SASE (Secure Access Service Edge)…
