We’re now looking for a Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in network protection, intrusion detection, and security architecture for complex infrastructures.

As a Network Security Engineer at Ehsan Lab, you will:

• Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, routers, and switches.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual or malicious activity using IDS/IPS and SIEM tools.
• Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
• Manage endpoint and perimeter defense solutions to ensure strong protection against internal and external threats.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enforce network access control policies and security baselines.
• Develop and maintain network security documentation, configurations, and incident response plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SAMA Cybersecurity Framework and CBE standards.
• Stay updated with the latest network security trends, tools, and threat intelligence to proactively enhance defense strategies.

To qualify for this role, you should bring:

• 2–5 years of professional experience in network security engineering or related cybersecurity roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or Network Engineering (or equivalent).
• Hands‑on experience with:
  • Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)
  • IDS/IPS systems (Snort, Suricata, Zeek)
  • VPN and secure remote access configurations
  • Network vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, Nmap)
  • SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, ELK Stack)
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and switching fundamentals.
• Familiarity with cloud network security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Recognized certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or OSCP (plus).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
