Sr. IT System Engineer; Contractor

OPPO US Research Center is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on IT System Engineer to support our routine business.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows and macOS systems (hardware, software, and peripherals).
• Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and related services.
• Oversee user account management
  , device setup, and endpoint security.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Ensure system and network security compliance
  , including patching and updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure IT systems align with business needs.
• Maintain IT documentation, including configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Provide remote and onsite IT support to employees as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support.
• Strong expertise in Windows and macOS environments.
• Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar).
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking
  , VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
• Experience with Active Directory
  , Microsoft 365
  , and Google Workspace administration.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin and English.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Experience with Net Suite or Shopify administration and integration.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions such as Intune.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices and tools (EDR, SIEM, MFA, etc.).
• Experience supporting remote and hybrid work environments

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$200,000 + bonus + long term incentives benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
