Keeping our VEGs medically excellent, the VEG Way. Our MDs are the highest‑level emergency veterinarians or Criticalists, who want to build and grow their very own hospital and team. Our VEG MDs are servant leaders who put the needs of their people first, lead their teams honestly, and are passionate about mentorship. They are best‑in‑class heroes who ensure their hospitals are delivering top‑tier customer experience.

Our MDs act with integrity, authenticity, and humility. They are strong communicators with high emotional intelligence, and their values align with VEG's values of Openness, Togetherness, Heroic Helping, and Meaningful Moments.

• Earned a DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree
• A minimum of five (5) years of traditional 24/7 ER experience and critical case management
• Unrelenting passion for customer satisfaction through providing the highest medical quality and care to their patients.
• Training in emergency surgery/endoscopy preferred
• Same thing for leadership/intern director/leadership skills/etc.
• Identifies with being a true servant leader through growing and helping others, their pets, and supporting the local community alongside their coworkers/colleagues while leading a team of rockstar Emergency Veterinarians.
