Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL - 20 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment (With possibility of extension)
A leading university seeks a Sorting Specialist to prepare primary source historical documents for digitization.
Sorting Specialist Responsibilities:- Prepare primary source historical materials for delivery to an outside vendor for scanning as part of a document digitization project.
- Review physical copies of documents and ensure they match the recorded metadata.
Qualifications:
- Current college student or recent college graduate in the humanities or social sciences.
- Experience with library research and working with primary documents is preferred.
- Part-time, 2 shifts per week: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM or 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- The assignment will have a pause during the winter closure, December 21, 2026, through January 1, 2027.
