RSC (Rubrik Security Cloud) is the SaaS control plane for Rubrik. Our mission is to build a highly scalable, reliable and secure cloud data management platform for the largest enterprises in the world.

As an engineer on the RSC Platform team, you’ll be working on the fundamental infrastructure components that all other RSC product teams at Rubrik build upon, including our microservices architecture, Kubernetes deployment system, distributed job workflow engine, database instances (MySQL) and platform cloud security. This is an exciting time to join as we are constantly improving and innovating on each of our core layers – Kubernetes services, distributed job framework, MySQL and security.

• Build our platforms, systems, and infrastructure using your strong background in distributed systems and large‑scale storage systems.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the software.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise.
• Identify and solve bottlenecks within our software stack.

• A BS/BA degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study
• 2+ years of work experience in a related field
• Experience with software development in one or more general‑purpose programming languages, including but not limited to Python, Go, Scala

• Experience architecting and developing large‑scale systems.
• Prior experience working with the databases (preferably MySQL)
• Experience working with GCP, AWS, Kubernetes.
