Role OverviewTesla's Infotainment team develops and validates firmware for in-vehicle user interfaces and system software, ensuring high-quality user experiences through hands-on testing and troubleshooting of firmware issues across various vehicle platforms.
Responsibilities- Test prototype firmware on different vehicle platforms
- Troubleshoot firmware issues and develop reproduction steps
- Document test cases and troubleshooting procedures in detail
- Execute Linux commands/scripts for diagnostics
- Strong QA and testing philosophy
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience with issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to analyze firmware from a customer perspective
- Interest in developing software skills for potential transition to software roles at Tesla
