Xage Security, Inc. seeks Principal Software Engineer in Palo Alto, CA:
Job Duties:
Design and develop Xage distributed system and deployment projects including health monitoring and visualization. Design and develop Xage high availability and redundancy systems. Design and develop Xage upgrade systems across hundreds of nodes with intermittent connectivity. Define, develop and maintain the deployment process and tools for Xage deployment spanning across both IT, OT and Cloud environments. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and adopt best practices for highly scalable and distributed systems.
Provide ongoing support and improve the system health and reliability. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Xage Security offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Docker; (2) Kubernetes; (3) Agile Software Development Methodology; (4) Go; (5) Python; (6) Ansible; (7) Ubuntu; (8) Alpine; (9) Red Hat Linux; and (10) Microservice architecture. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Xage Security offices may be required.
